Right next to the valley station of the Hauser Kaibling8-person gondola , the 24,000 m² Wollis Kids Park— a diverse children’s play area and practice slope—awaits all beginner skiers and snowboarders. A platter lift, three magic carpets, and beginner-friendly slopes make it the ideal starting point for your first turns in the Schladming 4-Mountain Ski Area. Fun and games in the park provide plenty of variety during breaks, and the AlmArenA is there for you to warm up with Kaiserschmarren and other treats.

Slope closure: In order to be able to offer you an unforgettable skiing experience every day, all slopes will be closed after operating hours from 17:30 h to 08:30 h!

During this period, slope preparation and snowmaking work is carried out.

  • Free access to the entire Wollis Kids Park for all kids up to age 6 (born in 2020 or later).
  • Free access to the entire Wollis Kids Park for ski pass holders(hourly, daily, or multi-day ski passes).

  • Who needs a Maxi Card? Children who only want to practice in the practice area at Hauser Kaibling—but don’t plan to ski throughout the entire ski resort—and don’t have a regular ski pass. The Maxi Card is therefore the more affordable alternative to a full ski pass for anyone who (for now) uses only the Kids Park.

Ski School & Ski Lessons for Children

For the best possible start to your skiing experience, we recommend taking a course at the Haus im Ennstal Ski & Snowboard School, located right at the Hauser Kaibling valley station. Trained ski instructors guide children with plenty of patience and playful exercises through their first turns in Wollis Kids Park—from the magic carpets to the platter lift—ensuring quick progress and lots of fun on skis or a snowboard.

The AlmArenA opens daily at 8 a.m. —perfect for a hearty breakfast before your first run at Wollis Kids Park. The extensive menu features everything from Kaiserschmarrn and Bauernkrapfen to burgers —just what you’ll crave after a morning in the snow. With room for up to 1,500 guests, the AlmArenA offers plenty of space for a cozy break with the whole family, even when it’s at full capacity.

Weida’s and Locki’s magic carpets (15 m each) are free for all visitors to use. The entire park, including the platter lift and Blöki’s magic carpet, is also free for all ski pass holders and for children born in 2021 or later.
