Hauser Kaibling is the ideal family ski area in Schladming-Dachstein: there's a large, free practice area with gentle slopes, magic carpets and a platter lift in the valley and, on the mountain, families find easy ski runs and safe ski trails. Experienced kids will have fun on the action-packed XXL Funslope. Our ski huts serve child-friendly dishes, and with attractive family prices, a day's skiing is a pleasure for young and old.

Free fun on the slopes for little ski stars

Wolli's Kids Park at the valley station attracts with three magic carpets, flat practice slopes and lots of fun and games. There are cozy rest areas for parents while the children make their first turns in the snow - ideal for a relaxed and successful start to skiing.

Children up to 6 years ski for free

4-mountain ski area Schladming

Family-friendliness is a top priority in the Schladming 4-mountain ski area: From the 2025/26 winter season, all children up to the age of six ski for free. The offer is valid on all mountains in Schladming Dachstein (Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm) as well as in the smaller ski resorts SKI Rittisberg, Galsterberg and Fageralm - including a free visit to the Dachstein Glacier.
