Yes, a total of 15 cozy ski huts - all with service - and numerous pleasure points such as the 360° panoramic loungers on the "pleasure island" offer relaxation and culinary enjoyment.

At Hauser Kaibling, families can look forward to a varied offer for snow fans of all ages:

  • Wollis Kids Park at the valley station: On around 24,000 m², the Kinderland offers a perfect practice area with conveyor belts, a platter lift and gentle slopes for playfully learning your first turns.
  • Ski & snowboard school: There is a ski school right next to the valley station that offers courses for all ages and abilities - from Bambini groups from the age of 3 to advanced kids. The ski instructors ensure rapid progress with lots of fun and patience.
  • XXL Funslope: A highlight for the whole family is the 1,460 m long Funslope with waves, steep turns and small obstacles - ideal for trying out what you have learned in a fun way.
  • Child-friendly infrastructure: Wide, easy family slopes, cozy huts with children's menus, free parking spaces at the valley station and short distances ensure relaxed skiing fun.
  • Summer offers: Hauser Kaibling also has a lot to offer families in summer - such as the SCHAFsinnTeich pond with barefoot path and play stations, the children's adventure trail with new ball tracks, the petting zoo and much more.

Yes, the Hauser Kaibling sports store is located directly at the valley station of the 8-seater gondola lift. Here you will find everything you need for your skiing, snowboarding or hiking day.

No, ski touring is not permitted on Hauser Kaibling. The ski slopes are intended exclusively for regular skiing. But don't worry: there are numerous wonderful ski touring and freeride routes in the region around Schladming-Dachstein.

In the event of adverse weather conditions, the operation of individual facilities may be restricted or suspended. We recommend that you check the current operating times and system status online before you arrive.

Arrival & Parking

Yes, there are plenty of free parking spaces available directly at the valley station. Charging stations are also available for electric cars.

Yes, Hauser Kaibling is easily accessible by train and bus. The nearest train stations are in Schladming and Haus im Ennstal. From there, regular bus connections take you directly to the valley station. In winter, there is also a ski bus shuttle from the surrounding villages.

Tickets & Prices

You can buy tickets directly at the ticket office, at our ticket machines on site or conveniently online via our webshop.

Ticket shop

When purchasing multi-day tickets and selected day ticketsin the Ski amadé online ticket store, you have the optionof booking a cancellation guarantee with your ticket. Ski passes can only be canceled with the booked cancellation guarantee, which must be announced up to 2 days before the start of validity (e.g. ticket valid from Saturday, cancellation guarantee can be requested until Wednesday 23:59) without giving reasons. Cancellation guarantee costs € 2.50 per day and per ski pass.

Cancellation can be requested by e-mail to skiticket@skiamade.com, stating the order number and order name.

It is not possible to book the cancellation guarantee after the order has been completed.

Yes, from the 2025/26 winter season, children up to the age of 6 can ski for free. The offer is valid on all mountains of the 4-mountain ski area Schladming (Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm) as well as for the small ski areas SKI Rittisberg, Galsterberg and Fageralm - including a free visit to the Dachstein Glacier.

There are also attractive family offers.

Yes, if you buy a ski ticket together for at least 20 people, you will receive a discounted group price.

There is no separate discount for students, senior citizens or ski instructors.

Yes, people with a disability of 70% or more receive a discount on hourly, day and multi-day tickets when purchasing a Ski amadé ski pass directly on site. Please bring your disability pass with you to receive the discount.

If a companion is required in your document, this person will also receive a corresponding discount.

All about the mountain summer

In summer, these lifts take you up the Hauser Kaibling in comfort:

  • Hauser Kaibling 8-seater gondola lift
  • 8-seater chairlift Kaiblinggrat
  • Schladminger Tauern cable car (in the village of Haus, approx. 10-15 minutes' walk from the gondola lift)

With the Schladming-Dachstein Sommercard you enjoy numerous benefits:

  • One free ascent & descent per day on a cable car of your choice
  • Free or reduced admission to over 100 leisure attractions in the region
  • Participation in activity programs and bonus services with many partners

You receive the Sommercard free of charge from your first overnight stay in all Card partner establishments. It is valid for the duration of your stay, including from 1 pm on the day of arrival and all day on the day of departure.

Yes, bike transport is only possible with the 8-seater gondola lift on the Hauser Kaibling. Bikes cannot be transported on the 8-seater Kaiblinggrat chairlift or the Tauern cable car in Haus.

You can also look forward to rustic huts and genuine Styrian cuisine on the Hauser Kaibling in summer:

  • Berggasthof Scharfetter - directly at the mountain station of the Tauern cable car, with regional delicacies such as Kasnockerl or Kaiserschmarrn.
  • Krummholzhütte - in a fantastic panoramic location, known for specialties such as Ennstal bread soup or lamb dishes from the Hauser Kaibling mountain lamb.
  • Schutzhaus Kaiblingalm - comfortably situated at almost 1,800 m, ideal for families and hikers with a sun terrace.
  • TOMiziel - modern hut flair with 360° panoramic umbrella bar and perfect views.

In total, over 90 mountain huts and lodges await you in the Schladming-Dachstein region - each with its own atmosphere and regional specialties.

You can buy the balls for the ball tracks directly at the start of the trail and in the Kaiblingalm shelter at ball machines for 2 euros.

Tip: If you don't have a suitable 2 euro coin for the machine, you can easily change at the ticket office at the valley station of the 8-seater gondola lift, at the SCHAFwerkstatt or at the Kaiblingalm shelter.

Yes, there are family-friendly trails and adventure offers on Hauser Kaibling. Example: The children's adventure trail is suitable for baby carriages and equipped with play stations.
