A perfect day's skiing starts with a good breakfast - and there are several delicious options at Hauser Kaibling:

If you're hungry right after your arrival, you can fortify yourself in the valley: in the AlmArenA a hearty breakfast awaits you from 8:00 a.m., giving you a relaxed start to the day's skiing.

The first gondola takes you up to the mountain station at 8:15 a.m., where Stoni's Rauchkuchl with the aroma of fresh pastries and regional specialties. Those with a little more patience will be rewarded further up in the traditional Krummholzhütte A rich buffet with farmhouse bread, Styrian cheese and fresh fruit - plus a panorama that makes the day special even at breakfast.

The TOMiziel also invites you to start in style: With a view of the Dachstein and lovingly prepared delicacies, the morning begins here with alpine flair. And in the elegant Bergschlössl the first morning sun pampers you on the panoramic terrace - probably the most beautiful place for an enjoyable start to the day's skiing.

Freshly fortified, you can continue on to the natural idyll of the Kaiblingalm - whether it's a speedy run down the XXL Funslope or an elegant descent down one of the most beautiful slopes is entirely up to you. In the middle of the Kaiblingalm, several huts invite you to linger:

And because a successful day's skiing also includes a stop for refreshments, several huts invite you to linger. In the d'Genussalm you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the Dachstein massif, while the Schutzhaus Kaiblingalm scores with its rustic charm and first-class cuisine. In the s'Lärchenpavillon you can expect homemade pizzas and a warm atmosphere - a place where you'll want to stay longer.

Here, stopping for a bite to eat is an experience for connoisseurs. On the sunny terraces, a freshly tapped drink or a glass of Styrian elderberry juice tastes twice as good - accompanied by the panorama of the snow-covered mountains.

If you take the summit lift to the highest point of the 4-mountain ski area, you're not just riding towards the panorama - but towards a real culinary highlight. On the sunny east side at Hauser Kaibling, charming huts invite you to enjoy, linger and feast.

From the transmitter plateau, the summit lift takes you to the highest point of the 4-mountain Schladming ski area at 2,015 meters. After a photo at the summit, including an entry in the summit book , the sun-drenched descent on the eastern slope awaits. Wide slopes, fine firn and fantastic views make this descent a highlight for all those who love long turns.

Afterwards, culinary delights await on the east side of the mountain. Whether in style in the charming Bergschlössl hearty in the popular Knapplhütte or relaxed with a snack in the cozy Gumpenbar Gumpenbar - All three establishments are run with great passion by the Höflehner family. The sunny terraces smell of grilled ribs and homemade specialties. This is where regional delicacies meet genuine hospitality - the perfect end to an enjoyable day's skiing at Hauser Kaibling.

  • Schmiedhütte: Styrian classics, warm hospitality and particularly family-friendly - the service team always has the little guests in mind.
  • Stoni's Rauchkuchl: Stable Austrian cuisine, regional specialties and the in-house "Stoni's Rauchkuchl beer " - a real hotspot for authentic cuisine.

The unique Almkulinarik Schladming-Dachstein has been bringing a breath of fresh air to mountain hut cuisine since 2019 - both in summer and winter. Under the creative direction of 4-toque chef Richard Rauch, extraordinary dishes that combine tradition and modern cuisine are created together with regional chefs.

There are also two culinary highlights directly at Hauser Kaibling: the traditional Krummholzhütte, known as Austria's first certified gourmet hut, and the cozy Schutzhaus Kaiblingalm, which treats guests to authentic Styrian specialties.

Both are among the 16 selected huts in the region that offer a special taste experience all year round - in the middle of the stunning mountain scenery. A seasonal dish, specially created in cooperation with Richard Rauch , is on the menu in both summer and winter - to be enjoyed by all guests who love genuine regional cuisine at the highest level.

If you are looking for real mountain hut enjoyment at Hauser Kaibling, you won't be able to avoid the Krummholzhütte.

As the oldest hut on the mountain and Austria's first certified gourmet hut, it stands for culinary quality, regionality and Alpine hospitality at the highest level.
