Ski area test

At the end of the winter season 2012/13, the Hauser Kaibling team had a particular reason to celebrate: our innovative ‘lifestyle’ ski resort took the overall victory at the International ski area test 2013! The award was presented on Tuedsay, April 9, 2013. 350 guests from the ski lift & tourism industry, amongst them Franz Hörl (member of the National Council), Leo Jeker (Cantonal Councillor), LA Josef Geisler, watched the award giving ceremony with great interest.

Quality check test

The quality checks by the International Ski Area Test have become an integral part regarding quality, safety, service and innovative ideas for the ski lift industry in the Alpine regions – in particular in Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia and France. 220 experienced members anonymously collect, in the ski resorts of the mentioned countries, their impressions. In particular they consider cordiality, ski lifts, ski run grooming, snow making facilities, events, mountain restaurants, safety precautions, first aid and rescue, sports shops, and ski schools. The Hauser Kaibling managed to win this prestigious prize before: our ski resort was awarded gold already in 2010.

TOP down to the detail

“It is great to see that the huge commitment of the entire team bears fruit and that we succeed in offering a perfect all-in package”, says Moser visibly proud, the more so as even the detailed results are outstanding: the Krummholzhütte received gold for the most popular ski hut, furthermore, gold was awarded in the category Best Events with the life-concert of Sportfreunde Stiller, and in the category Best Marketing. Equally brilliant were the results in the category Best Snow Making and Best Guest Information System. How experienced they are especially in the field of event organising, the team of the Hauser Kaibling ski resort not only proved by hosting the many concerts in their local Ski Arena, but especially during the Alpine World Ski Championships. Then, they housed the gathering place of the German Ski Team and their fans in a traditional Styrian hut with 500 m2 and room for 200 guests. While the sports journalists were working in Schladming, the society journalists were roaming around the guests like Franz Beckenbauer, DJ Otzi, Franziska van Almsick, Hermann Maier and co.
