The operating hours of the cable cars and lifts at Hauser Kaibling vary by season. In winter, the lifts operate daily from November through April—they generally start running at 8:00 a.m., and the last trips up the mountain take place around 4:30 p.m.
During the summer season, from May through October, the cable cars open at 9:00 a.m. and take you comfortably to the hiking and family paradise at Hauser Kaibling in Styria.

In the summer, these lifts will take you comfortably up to Hauser Kaibling:
- Hauser Kaibling 8-person gondola
- Kaiblinggrat 8-seater chairlift
- Schladminger Tauern Cable Car (in the village of Haus, about a 10–15-minute walk from the gondola)
With the Schladming-Dachstein Card, you can use the 8-seater gondola lift and the Kaiblinggrat 8-seater chairlift free of charge on the Hauser Kaibling.
The Schladminger Tauern cable car in Haus is also included.
This includes one free ascent and descent per day.
Our mountain railway is open daily from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the winter and from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the summer. You can find the exact seasonal hours (summer and winter operations) here:
The ski season at Hauser Kaibling typically runs from November through April. During this period, the cable cars, lifts, and slopes are in operation daily, depending on snow conditions and the weather. The season officially begins as soon as temperatures and snow conditions permit.
The last descent depends on the operating hours of the respective cable cars. In winter, the last ascents and descents usually take place around 4:30 p.m. Please note that times may vary depending on the facility, season, and weather conditions.
To ensure optimal slope conditions every day, all slopes are closed between 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. During this time, slope grooming and snowmaking operations take place. Skiing or snowboarding on the slopes outside of operating hours is prohibited and subject to legal penalties.
