Summer experience for young and old in Schladming
Wollis mountain adventure
Playful, exciting and full of nature experiences
The Hauser Kaibling is the ideal excursion destination for families in summer. A varied day on the mountain awaits you here with a petting zoo, children's adventure trail, playgrounds, the SCHAFsinn pond and many other highlights. Easily accessible hiking trails, routes suitable for baby carriages and rustic huts with sun terraces make your summer vacation in Styria unforgettable - with fantastic views of the Dachstein massif.
On the free children's adventure trail, you can puzzle, discover and pick up a small gift at the ticket office at the end. For just € 2, wooden ball tracks provide additional fun - and you can playfully learn more about the fluffy main characters: our sheep.
At the mountain station of the 8-seater gondola lift, there is a large playground with a giant sandpit, the SCHAFwerkstatt with arts and crafts fun and a lovely petting zoo with ponies, donkeys, goats, mini pigs and more. Water zorbing and paddle boats provide variety. The 8-seater Kaiblinggrat chairlift takes you to the Senderplateau (1,870 m), the perfect starting point for all hikes.
A real highlight: the children's adventure trail leads directly to the SCHAFsinnTeich pond with barefoot trail, Schaferl jumping, via ferrata, photo point and cozy rest areas. Our four managed summer huts will spoil you with regional delicacies.
If you fancy a little summit adventure, you can hike to the highest point of the 4-mountain Schladming ski area (2,015 m) in around 30 minutes - mascot Wolli is waiting there for a selfie and the summit book for lasting memories.
Extra tip: Around 700 sheep spend the summer here - accompanied by a real shepherd. Maybe you'll meet them on your hike!
With the Schladming-Dachstein Sommercard, the ascent is free and many other experiences are also free or discounted.
