News from Ski amadé

New Season, New Highlights

Austria’s premier ski destination kicks off the 2026/2027 winter season with numerous new features and special experiences. Two new lift systems, Best Learn2Ski amadé, a variety of events, and culinary delights will provide even more comfort and mountain adventures across the five Ski amadé regions.

Families in particular can look forward to attractive and family-friendly offers that make skiing both affordable and varied. To wrap up the season, late-season skiing—with plenty of sunshine, excellent slope conditions, and special offers—invites you to enjoy the winter one last time together. Once again this season, Ski amadé combines skiing, indulgence, events, and special mountain experiences for the whole family.

Ski amadé: Ready for winter—looking forward to the 2026/27 season

Overall, the 2025/26 winter season was very successful for Ski amadé. Good snow conditions and cool temperatures made for an optimal start to the season, while the online early-bird booking system and the “Mega Loyalty Bonus” contributed to record sales of season passes. Austria’s premier ski destination combines pure winter joy with a passion for skiing and welcomes its guests with great anticipation.

With the 2026/27 winter season, two new lift systems will go into operation in Ski amadé: In Wagrain, the new 10-person Grafenbergbahn I + II gondola will replace the existing lifts, providing greater comfort and a more efficient connection. At Monte Popolo in Eben, the former Grafenberg Express I is being rebuilt as the new 8-person gondola Popolo I, replacing the double chairlift from 1972. This means families and beginners in particular will benefit from a modern, comfortable ascent. Ski amadé is home to the most beautiful ski areas in Salzburg and Styria. The five regions—Snowspace Salzburg–Zauchensee–Shuttleberg, Schladming-Dachstein, Gastein, Hochkönig, and the Großarltal—are kicking off the 2026/27 winter season with numerous new features and offers. With just one ski pass, you’ll have access to up to 760 kilometers of slopes, 260 modern lifts, and 356 perfectly groomed runs, all set against stunning mountain panoramas and featuring a wide variety of dining options.
