Anton Schwab steps down after 18 years as operations manager at Hauser Kaibling

After 18 years as operations manager and a total of 35 years at Hauser Kaibling, Anton Schwab is handing over his position to Philipp Hofstätter and retiring to a well-deserved life of leisure. Since joining the company in 1990, Schwab has played a key role in shaping the ski resort’s development and has overseen numerous investments and projects—including the Gipfelbahn, the Alm 6er-Bahn, the Kaiblinggratbahn, and the Senderbahn. 

“I am grateful to have been part of the development at Hauser Kaibling and wish the company continued success in the future,” said Schwab during the handover to his successor. Among the most significant projects of his career was the implementation of the Gipfelbahn. “Back then, we didn’t have a planning office yet. We had to work out and plan a lot of things ourselves. It was an intense, but also very exciting time,” Schwab recalls. Klaus Hofstätter, Managing Director of

With Philipp Hofstätter, the next generation is now taking the reins at the Hauser Kaibling. “I look forward to actively helping shape the success story at Hauser Kaibling alongside a motivated team,” says Philipp Hofstätter as he looks ahead to his new responsibilities.
