at the top station of the 8-seater gondola lift
The family fun begins right at the top station of the 8-seater gondola lift: A large sandpit with a sand conveyor system invites you to build and play. A slide with a climbing wall, a creative painting and play house with postcard templates, balancing beams and numerous small play stations provide exercise and variety. Children will find everything they need to have fun here - and parents can relax and watch.
Children's handicrafts
in the SCHAFwerkstatt
The SCHAFwerkstatt workshop also awaits children at the top station of the 8-seater gondola. Here they can make, paint, knead, bake and craft to their heart's content. Using materials such as wood, wool, soap and much more, little works of art are created that are not only fun, but also create memories to take home.
The program in the SCHAFwerkstatt changes regularly and thus always provides new surprises. Children can develop their ideas freely and get to know different materials in a playful way.
Please note: The SCHAFwerkstatt is not a childcare facility. We therefore ask accompanying adults to stay nearby during the creative hours.
Water fun
at the Kaiblinggrat valley station
Just a few meters from the 8-seater gondola mountain station, refreshing water fun awaits the adventurous. Children and families can glide across the large water basin in colorful paddle boats . With every turn of the hand crank, you determine your own speed and direction - sometimes leisurely across the water, sometimes as a fun competition against friends or siblings. Whether alone or in pairs: the small boats provide lively action and lots of summer fun.
Another highlight is water zorbing: huge, transparent balls also take you into the pool, where you can run, roll or simply glide over the cool water - without getting wet. The result is an extraordinary experience that delights children and adults alike.
Enjoyment and time out
And what are mom & dad doing in the meantime?
While the children are crafting in the Sheep workshop or playing in the surrounding playgrounds, they are always in view. So mom and dad can relax on the terrace, enjoy the sun with coffee and homemade cake and watch the little ones play and work. Those who prefer a quieter pace can lean back, read a good book or let their gaze wander over the panorama of the Schladming mountains. Creative children's hours and active play adventures are combined with relaxing moments for the adults - ideal for the whole family.
Continue to the very top
Kaiblinggrat mountain station & Tauern cable car
Continue with the Kaiblinggrat 8-seater chairlift. A ride on the chairlift in summer is an experience in itself - the ride with a view of the Ennstal is a must-do. It takes just a few minutes to get up to 1,870 meters above sea level.
Once at the top, more play equipment, varied motor skills stations, a large seesaw and the panoramic double swing, which gives you the feeling of flying directly over the mountains, await you. For the whole family, there are cozy refreshment stops with sunny terraces as well as various family-friendly hiking trails, most of which are also suitable for baby carriages. This makes a trip to Hauser Kaibling an unforgettable mountain experience for young and old.
