Creative Fun for Kids
Crafts for Kids
at the SCHAFwerkstatt
At the top station of the 8-person gondola, the SCHAFwerkstatt also awaits children . Here, they can craft, paint, play with clay, bake, and tinker to their heart’s content. Using materials like wood, wool, soap, and much more, they create little works of art that are not only fun but also make for lasting memories to take home.
The program at the SCHAFwerkstatt changes regularly, ensuring there are always new surprises. Children can freely explore their ideas and playfully discover different materials.
Note: The SCHAFwerkstatt is not a childcare service. We therefore ask accompanying adults to stay nearby during the creative sessions.
Guided Hikes with Shepherd Franz
Join shepherd Franz on a roughly two-hour hike on the Hauser Kaibling and immerse yourself in the world of sheep and shepherds. On this leisurely walk, you’ll learn fascinating facts about traditional alpine farming, the healing properties of alpine herbs, and the important role animals play in the mountain world. The free tour is perfect for families and takes place even in bad weather—please bring sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.
Sunrise Hike
Guided Hike to the Hauser Kaibling
It’s worth getting up early: The sunrise hike to the Hauser Kaibling summit (2,015 m) starts as early as around 4:00 a.m. After less than an hour’s hike, you’ll be treated to an unforgettable natural spectacle as the sun rises behind the mountain peaks and bathes the landscape in golden light.
