Winter Walk Planai
Tour description
From the Planai cable-cars' 2nd section mountain terminal you pass by Schladmingerhütte chalet and walk through the undepass tunnel to Onkel Willy's Hütte chalet and Hotel Planaihof. A few steps further you walk by the Planai Superpark and Weitmoosalm chalet and from there further downhill along Planaistraße road to the 1st sections' mountain terminal. Especially in the afternoon this is a very sunny walk and you enjoy a great view to Untertal valley and the plateau of Rohrmoos with Hochwurzen. Just before arriving at the 1st sections' mountain terminal you undepass the ski slope again through a tunnel! From there you take the cable-car back down to the town of Schladming. Alternatively you can descend to the valley via cable-car Planai-West.

In the town of Schladming you can take the Citybus. From Rohrmoos take the Planai buses to Planet Planai, from Ramsau take the buses of Ramsauer Verkehrsbetriebe.

From Planet Planai take Planai cable-car to the starting point.
ATTENTION: before starting the walk on Planaistraße road you have to walk across the ski slope, as well as just before arriving at the 1st section's mountain terminal - take great care!
Good winter shoes, warm clothing, tuque, and gloves.
