Map, elevation profile & further information
The great difference in altitude can be comfortably overcome with the Schladminger Tauern cable car or Hauser Kaibling cable car & 8-seater chairlift Kaiblinggrat. From the top station of the cable car, the path leads along the Schafsinn-Rundweg to the Rossfeldsattel. From there follow the signs. In approx. 45 min. you reach the Bärfallspitze and enjoy the wonderful panoramic view into the valley. The descent is via trail no. 780 to the Kaiblingalm. From there it is a comfortable forest path back to the top station.
Ennstalbundesstraße (B320) - Haus im Ennstal:
- Valley station Schladminger Tauern cable car (above the catholic church in Haus im Ennstal)
- Valley station Hauser Kaibling cable car (directly next to the main road)
Postbus (L900) - Exit: Haus Ort oder Hauser Kaibling Seilbahn
Between end of May and mid October: Planaibus (Line: Schladming - Haus - Steirischer Bodensee)
- Good footwear and free from dizziness.
- Mountain boots, rain protection.
- Here are all the hiking maps and important brochures to download.
If you want to "win" a double summit victory, the tour starts from the cable car mountain station over the Hauser Kaibling summit (2.015 m) and on to the Rossfeldsattel and from there up to the Bärfallspitze.
