Complete motorway connection on the A9 Pyhrn autobahn between Linz/Wels to Liezen since December 2004 (from Linz to Haus im Ennstal in approx. 90 minutes).
Take the Munich-Salzburg autobahn and continue along the Tauern autobahn (A10) to the Ennstal junction. From there it’s only a further 30 km along the B320 road to the Hauser Kaibling ski area.
From Upper Austria / Germany:
An alternative route takes you from Nuremberg via Regensburg and Passau to the “Voralpenkreuz” junction towards Wels. From there continue along the Pyhrn autobahn (A9) to the Selzthal junction and proceed on the B320 towards Haus im Ennstal.
From Vienna:
If you’re coming from the east take the A23 around Vienna and the A2 south autobahn before proceeding along the S6 Semmering until you get to the St. Michael junction. From there take the Pyhrn autobahn (A9) to the Liezen junction and then the B320 to Haus im Ennstal.
From Italy:
From Udine head to the border crossing point at Arnoldstein and take the A2 to Villach. Continue on the Tauern autobahn (A10) until the Ennstal junction and from there take the Ennstal Road (B320) to Haus im Ennstal.
