Summer in Schladming-Dachstein
In summer the Schladming-Dachstein holiday region is transformed into a “top hiking region” with 1,000 km of hiking trails for grownups and children.
You can look forward to unspoilt landscapes, lush green Alpine valleys, splendid limestone faces of the glaciated Dachstein, countless peaks and 300 mountain lakes in the Schladminger Tauern. High up on the summit of Hauser Kaibling you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Dachstein mountains.
First circular trail (1¼ hrs): Hauser Kaibling mountain terminal (2,015 m) – Rossfeldsattel – Kaiblingalm and back
Second circular trail (3½ hrs): Mountain terminal - Kaiblingalm – Seescharte (2070m) – Moaralmsee and back
Calm, clean air, wonderful visibility - fantastic surroundings with an enormous variety of fauna and flora: Hauser Kaibling is also the perfect starting point for idyllic walks through the fascinating, green world of the Schladminger Tauern and its abundant waters

The Schladminger Tauern cableway, a partner of the Schladming-Dachstein Summer Card, takes you up to the mountain world between 8 am and 4.45 pm from the end of May to the end of September.High up on the summit of Hauser Kaibling you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Dachstein mountains.
