Skiing World Cup on the Hauser Kaibling

Hauser Kaibling looks forward to welcoming the stars of the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup!

The FIS Women’s World Cup will once again be paying a visit to Hauser Kaibling from 8 to 10 January 2010. The party really gets going again with the downhill speed race and the Super G.

3 Days - 3 Races - 1 Winner: US-American Girl Lindsey Vonn              GEPA Pictures

Down the mountain right on the edge, a surge of power leading up to the jump, free flight then landing again with the ski sticks held tightly under the arms - the speed competitions represent, quite simply, the supreme disciplines in the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup. Perfectly groomed pistes are de rigueur here, but that already goes without saying in Haus. It’s no coincidence that Hauser Kaibling has been among the speed queens’ favourite mountains for years!

Spectacular scenes, thrilling battles over hundredths of seconds, fantastic record times – it’s all here again this winter on Hauser Kaibling as the Women’s Alpine Ski World Cup returns to the mountain for two races in which speeds far in excess of 100 kilometres per hour are perfectly normal: the world’s best female skiers will be competing in the downhill discipline on 8 and 9 January 2010 and in the Super G on Sunday, 10 January 2010!

Let’s get the party started!

If the pistes are going to be packed with excitement throughout the day, then it’s only right that the evenings should offer something of a similar kind. And so the party gets going on Hauser Kaibling: Saturday sees the staging of the Ö3 Mountain Mania event with live acts and shows presented by the presenters of Ö3 radio. A World Cup party and “Downhill Night” in the VIP tent complete the programme.
