Alpine Lambs Celebration 2010
Again! The Alpine Lambs Celebration had taken place on 25 July 2010 on the Hauser Kaibling.
The "stars of the day" were undoubtedly 700 sheeps of sheep farmers around the area, which were grazing on the pastures of Hauser Kaibling. Shepherd Simon Winterling and his trained sheepdog were managing the smooth conduct from the top to the valley. Apart from the fact that the animals feel good, grazing on the pastures (as if they were on a "spa stay") the highly diverse composition of their feed meets the conditions for producing high quality Alpine lambs which are then organizes and brought to market by the Ennstal sheep famers' centre.
On 25 July 2010 around 4.000 visitors were going on a pilgrimage to the event-terrain of the FIS-course Hauser Kaibling. An amazing entertainment program "all about the sheep" was offered.
The official start of the event was an economical liturgy of the Word with some general and politics VIP's like state councillor Johann Seitinger, the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber deputy president Johann Resch, mayor Gerhard Schütter, Hauser Kaibling manager Arthur Moser and Styrias tourism manager Georg Bliem.

Among other things the Sunday morning get-together was an incredible spectacle, with band's like "2 lustigen 3" and "Aufleb'n", the Schuhplattler group "Kuafstoana z'Weißenbach", the famous ceremonial tapping of a beer barrel with Jürgen Stocker, and last but not least a traditional fashionshow with Styrias woll queen Martina II presented by L&M Fashion.
